Tiong Bahru Market Singapore

Zhong Yu Yuan Wei Wanton Noodle

is a very famous stall selling wanton mee. It is probably one of the best wanton mee in Singapore. Constantly with a long queue.

Wanton Mee

Zhong Yu Yuan Wei Wanton Noodle dishes out one of the tastiest wanton mee ever. Go for the premium bu jian tian version, it is well worth your money.

The bu jian tian (pork picnic cut) char siew is tender and juicy with sweet roasted honey tastes. Its meat is half fatty and half lean. It is mouth watering good. The noodles has a nice springy texture, mixed in a tasty soya sauce based seasoning. The wanton soup tastes real good with strong hints of ikan bilis flavours. The wanton dumplings are soft and juicy, with tiny bits of water chestnut.

This serving of wanton mee is definitely a very satisfying meal for me. Highly recommended!
