Yong Tau Foo

Xin Xin Yong Tau Foo serves yong tau foo in soup and dry versions with choice of noodles. Seen above is their dry you mian with a bowl of yong tau foo soup.

The you mian has a nice springy texture. It is tossed in a black sauce seasoning and has very nice flavours. It is good. Recommended.

The yong tau foo soup has nice ikan bilis flavours. it comes with an assortment of yong tau foo pieces. The cubes of tofu is fairly soft and smooth. Likewise for the tau kee and tau kee roll, they are both soft and smooth too. The tau pok with meat filling tastes rather nice. The fish paste fishball is quite soft and smooth as well. Comes served with a chilli sauce and sweet sauce for dipping.

The yong tau foo pieces and its soup are all rather nice. It is the tossed you mian that is the star here. It is truly enjoyable.

Laksa Yong Tau Foo

The laksa version of yong tau foo is also available. Shown here is with thick mee hoon. It comes with the usual yong tau foo pieces with extra laksa gravy soaked tau pok. The tau pok is soft and soaking with flavourful laksa sauce that has a spicy taste. This bowl of laksa yong tau foo is quite likeable too, though personally I still prefer their tossed you mian more.
