Signature Mee Pok

At Mr Meepok, their signature mee pok which comes with the usual minced meat, pork slices, meatballs and braised mushroom slices. Something different is, it comes with a piece of tau kee and an onsen egg. There is supposed to be abalone slices as well, but unfortunately they ran out. The fishballs are an extra add on.

The minced meat and pork slices are both meaty and fairly soft. As for the braised mushroom slices, it is soft with nice braised flavourings that has a slightly sweet taste to it.

The meatball is soft with nice savoury tastes. Same for the fishball, soft and smooth with a slight spring and nice savoury flavours. The tau kee has a nice savoury taste with a chewy skin.

Now for the mee pok. It is springy with nice seasoning flavours. Comes with some lard pieces and topped with chopped spring onions. Break the soft onsen egg, mix it with the noodles and it brings the noodles up another level. The noodles coated with the runny soft egg tastes lovely. Give it a try, you would probably like it too.
