Nasi Lemak

Ming Hui Nasi Lemak uses green pandan rice for its nasi lemak with an assortment of dishes to choose from. Shown here is with luncheon meat, fried chicken wing, fish fillet, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts.

This rice is fairly fragrant with mild coconut milk flavours, and getting its greenish coloured rice from the added pandan leaves. The sambal chilli is spicy with some onion shreds and tastes quite ordinary on its own, but its taste mixes up rather well with the pandan rice in a complimentary way.

The ikan bilis is crispy and crunchy, so is the peanuts. The fried chicken wing is quite alright too. Lightly crispy outside and moist inside with decent flavours. As for the luncheon meat, fish fillet and fried egg, these are your usual regular stuff.

This is quite a lovely plate of nasi lemak and its portions are good. Be prepared to queue during meal times as it is quite a popular stall.
