makes one of the smoothest fishball ever. Really smooth meatballs too. Good!

Fishball Noodles

Matasoh Fishball & Meatball Mincemeat Noodle sells the usual variety of fishball and minced meat noodles. Seen here is their signature noodles with mee pok chosen. This bowl of signature noodles comes with the usual fishballs, fish cake slices, meatballs, minced meat and pork slices. Something uncommon, a soft boiled egg is included too!

First off, the fishball here is probably one of the smoothest I’ve ever eaten. It is soft and very smooth with nice flavours. It is almost like tofu kind of smooth. Likewise for the meatball, it is soft and smooth too with nice flavours. Both are good and highly recommended.

The fish cake is really nice too. It is soft and yet springy, contains bits of chopped spring onions and chopped chilli. Nice flavours. As for the minced pork and pork slices, they are soft and tender. Moist and meaty too.

The mee pok is springy and tossed with crispy lard in a nice savoury tasting seasoning. It includes a soft boiled egg that is soft and watery. A bowl of nice savoury flavoured soup with a faint hint of peppery taste is served on the side.

Just one word describes this bowl of signature noodles, good!
