Rojak

Lau Pa Sat Cooked Food sells a small handful of rojak dishes. Seen here is their traditional rojak. It contains slices of cucumbers, pineapples, pear, green mango with you tiao and tau pok pieces glazed in a rojak sauce with lots of grated peanuts.

The you tiao and tau pok are toasted until really crispy. It is worth mentioning that some of the tau pok pieces are so crispy that it is airy and flaky! The rojak sauce is a sweet sticky and gooey mess with a dash of lime and topped with lots of grated peanuts.

In my opinion, this rojak here is definitely better than the more famous stall Toa Payoh Rojak. It is definitely a really lovely plate of rojak. I like this very much!
