Chwee Kueh

This chwee kueh has a firm texture rice cake topped with savoury tasting chye poh with a tint of sweet. Quite likeable.

Fried Carrot Cake

There are two types of deep fried carrot cake sold here – the sliced ones and the stick ones. The fried carrot cake slices has rather nice flavours, however it is mostly soft with a mild crispiness at the sides. As for the fried carrot cake sticks, it is crispy outside and soft inside with the same nice flavourings. It is a tad oily though. The fried carrot cake sticks is definitely better than the sliced version. My thumbs up to the fried carrot cake sticks.

Pumpkin Cake

This steamed pumpkin cake is soft yet firm, and contains bits of pumpkin and dried shrimps. Comes served topped with sweet sauce a dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side. It is nice. I like it.

Yam Cake & Chee Cheong Fun

The yam cake contains bits of yam pieces. It is soft with nice flavourings. Comes topped with some sweet sauce and sesame seeds and served with a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side.

The chee cheong fun is fairly smooth and soft with soya sauce and oil added as its seasoning base. Just like the yam cake, it is topped with some sweet sauce and sesame seeds.

Both the yam cake and chee cheong fun are quite likeable.

Glutinous Rice

Glutinous rice is available here as well. It has a nice firm texture, topped with crunchy peanuts and served with a dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side. It tastes better with when eaten together with the chilli. Tastes decent.
