Chen Ji Wanton Noodle serves wanton mee with both soup and fried wanton, and char siew slices on a plate of decently flavoured springy noodles with some vegetables and crispy lard pieces included. The beancurd skin wrapped spring roll is an extra add on.

Both the soup wanton and fried wanton has nicely flavoured filling. The soup wanton has a soft skin wrapper and the fried version has a crispy wanton skin. The bowl of soup served on the side has nice ikan bilis flavours with a hint of pepper.

The char siew is the lean meat type, and is fairly soft and meaty. As for the beancurd skin wrapped spring roll, it has a soft and moist meat filling containing some carrot bits and crunchy bits of water chestnut. Nice flavours too.

This wanton mee is quite likeable, and so is the beancurd skin wrapped spring roll. I rather like it.
