Chao Ji Shao La

sells the usual siu mei meats and soya sauce chicken with choice of rice or noodles. Ordinary but still decent.

Char Siu, Siu Yuk

This char siew and siu yuk rice comes with slices of char siew and roast pork stacked on a plate of plain white rice topped with a sweet sauce seasoning and served with some vegetables and dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side.

The char siew is the lean type with mild smokey flavours, tastes decent. The siu yuk is fairly soft and meaty with a crispy skin, tastes decent as well. Both are quite ordinary but still considered decent. Personally I like the siu yuk a little bit more.

Soya Sauce Chicken

The soya sauce chicken has rather tender and smooth flesh with smooth and soft skin with rather nice flavours. It is not deboned though. The noodles is springy but has a mild alkaline taste to it. The soya sauce based seasoning helps to cover up some of the alkaline flavours. Comes served with some vegetables and a dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side. The soya sauce chicken is quite likeable.

Wanton Mee

The wanton mee has springy noodles with a soya sauce seasoning, served with char siew slices, wanton and some vegetables. The char siew slices has mild sweet flavours, are meaty and chewy and a bit tough. The wanton has a soft skin with moist meat filling and a lightly savoury taste. As for the noodles, it has mild alkaline flavours. This wanton mee is quite ordinary. There are better choices out there.
