Nasi Lemak

Changi Village Cooked Food sells a few nasi lemak sets. Seen here is with fried chicken wing, fish fillet and fried egg with sambal chilli served on the side.

The fried chicken wing has a lightly coated batter that is crispy, covering nicely flavoured skin and moist meat. The fish fillet is quite nice too, with crispy outsides. The fried egg is soft with a watery yolk and mild crispy whites. As for the rice, it is fairly fragrant with a faint hint of coconut milk. A dollop of sweet tasting sambal chilli is served on the side. Nice.

Fried Mee Hoon

Besides nasi lemak, fried mee hoon is available as well. Seen here is with piece of luncheon meat added.

The fried mee hoon is moist with a light savoury taste. The luncheon meat is quite thickly sliced and has mildly crispy outsides. Comes served with a dollop of sweet tasting sambal chilli on the side. This fried mee hoon is rather nice. I like it.
