Dried Fish & Peanuts Porridge

Chang Ji Gourmet is an old time stall well known for its dried fish & peanuts porridge. This porridge is very smooth with nice flavours. Contains tiny bits of dried fish (dried bonito flakes) and soft peanuts. Very nice! Probably one of the nicer cantonese style porridge available. If only there is crispy you tiao to go along with it….

Fried Mee Hoon

Besides their signature porridge, fried mee hoon and fried noodles are available too as a complimentary side. This fried mee hoon contains some bean sprouts. It is soft and has nice flavourings. The traditional way of eating this, is to alternate between a mouthful of porridge and a bite of fried mee hoon.

This porridge and fried mee hoon combo is highly popular at this stall, where almost everyone is ordering this. I like it too. Thumbs up!
