Wanton Mee

Zhou Ji Wanton Noodle serves the regular type of wanton mee with char siew and wanton soup. For this serving, extra dumplings are added.

This wanton mee uses lean meat type of char siew which is meaty and has a slightly sweet taste. The wanton has soft skin with a filling of savoury tasting meat and water chestnut bits. The dumpling is similar to the wanton with an extra small bit of prawn added. The wanton and dumplings are served in a bowl of nice savoury tasting soup. They are both nice.

As for the tossed noodles, It is firm and springy. The noodles is tossed in a nicely flavoured black sauce seasoning. There is a hint of dried shrimp flavours, probably coming from the added chilli paste. Some vegetables are included.

This serving of wanton mee is rather likeable.
