Fried Hokkien Mee

Xie Kee Hokkien Mee does fried hokkien mee with a slight difference. Thick yellow noodles is used instead of the regular round ones, with just a small amount of mee hoon mixed in. This fried Hokkien mee contains the usual prawns and sotong bits but no lard, as far as I can tell. The accompanying chilli has a sweet taste that mixes well with the fried noodles. The fried Hokkien mee has a wet texture and tastes pretty nice. I quite like this.
