Mee Goreng

This chinese style mee goreng uses thick yellow noodles wok fried with fish slices, prawns, pork slices, some bean sprouts, onions and tomato. As far as I can tell, there are no eggs added to this.

The sliced fish is a bit rough but still decent. The pork is meaty and fairly soft. The prawns is rather small but also decent too. The yellow noodles are springy and kind of oily. This mee goreng is slightly spicy and has quite average flavours. Skip the mee goreng, the other dishes are better here.

Fried Rice

This fried rice is quite fragrant and has a nice dry texture with nice savoury flavours. It has tiny bits of char siew and prawn bits, wok fried with egg and rice, giving it a nice smokey taste of wok hei. The char siew is soft and meaty with a slightly sweet taste, and the prawn bits are decent. This plate of fried rice is quite likeable.

Sweet Sour Pork Rice

This sweet sour pork is crispy outside and meaty inside. Its sauce is nicely flavoured with a slightly sweet and tangy taste. Comes with tomato and cucumber bits. The sweet sour pork is served with a firm textured plain white rice and a fried sunny side egg is added. The fried egg has crispy whites and a runny yolk – thumbs up. This serving of sweet sour pork rice is rather enjoyable.

Fried Prawns

This fried prawns is nicely deep fried with an airy type of crispy batter with meaty prawn meat inside and nice flavourings. The prawns used are fairly large in size. The prawns are mostly deshelled leaving just the tails shelled. They are deep dried so crispy that the shelled tails can be eaten. This is decently nice. I like it.
