Rojak

Rojak Line is an upmarket hawker stall selling vegan friendly rojak using premium ingredients. This rojak comes with thick slices of you tiao, tau pok, honey pineapple, red apple, guava, Japanese cucumber and turnip. These are glazed with a vegan friendly sauce that does not use prawn paste, and topped with fine peanut powder.

The you tiao is toasted until it is crispy but it is the hard type of crispy instead of airy type, and it is chewy. Likewise for the tau pok, it is toasted crispy and is chewy. Both can be crispier though.

The pineapple is juicy and sweet, very likeable. The red apple is crunchy and juicy, just ordinary though. The guava is crunchy and juicy as well. As for the cucumber, very juicy and crunchy. Quite likeable.

These bits and pieces are glazed in a thick rojak sauce that tastes a little sweet and a little limey. The uniqueness of this sauce is that it does not contain any prawn paste and is vegan friendly. The rojak is then topped with finely grated peanut powder. This rojak is quite likeable. Thumbs up.
