Fried Chicken Wing Nasi Lemak

This plate of nasi lemak comes with a fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, cucumber slices, achar and a dollop of sambal chilli paste served with coconut milk rice.

The rice is very fragrant and flavourful, with a nice firm texture. The fried egg has a watery yolk and soft whites. The ikan bilis has an airy crispiness to it, and the peanuts are crunchy. The achar has a nice limey and spicy tinge to it. As for the sambal chilli, it has nice dried shrimp flavours and you can actually taste bits of dried shrimps in it. Absolutely lovely!

The fried chicken wing is truly good too. It has a nice airy crispy batter and skin, with moist meat. Flavourful seasoning as well. Thumbs up!

Fried Chicken Drumstick Nasi Lemak

This nasi lemak has a fried chicken drumstick as its main. Just like the fried chicken wing, this fried chicken drumstick has an airy crispy batter and skin. Its flesh is moist and meaty with nice seasoning flavours. It is satisfying good and truly enjoyable!

Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak

Curry chicken is chosen as the main here. The curry chicken and curry sauce is served separately in a bowl. The curry sauce is fragrant and mildly spicy. The generous serving of chicken meat is soft and flavourful but has bits of crushed bones. Comes with a few pieces of soft and flavourful curry potato. This curry chicken is nice too, but personally I do prefer their fried chicken more.

Soup

A serving of soup is provided to me with the more costly nasi lemak sets. This nicely flavoured soup tastes of chicken, ikan bilis and lotus root. Chunks of soft and flavourful boiled chicken meat and some ikan bilis can be found in the soup. I like this soup. As this is a complimentary bowl of soup, your mileage may vary.
