Nasi Lemak

This stall is just simply named Nasi Lemak. It sells nasi lemak where you can choose from a couple of sets or pick your own add ons. Shown here is their set with fried egg, fish fillet, chicken sausage and a small piece of fish cake, with a fried chicken wing added as an extra.

The fried egg, sausage and fish fillet are all pretty standard stuff. The small piece of fish cake is quite nice with soft texture and savoury tastes. As for the fried chicken wing, it has a slightly crispy skin with savoury tastes. It is not exactly moist and juicy but acceptable. Comes with fairly fragrant with nice coconut milk flavours and chilli on the side. The chilli provided here is the watery type, spicy with a little bit of sweetness.

Overall this nasi lemak is quite ordinary. It isn’t bad but isn’t good either. Just likeable in an ordinary way.

Fried Mee Hoon & Noodles

Besides nasi lemak, fried noodles and fried mee hoon is sold here as well. This plate of fried noodles and fried mee hoon mix has luncheon meat and otah added. The fried mee hoon is the white version with egg and some vegetables, and nice flavourings. The fried noodles is the normal type using yellow noodles and tastes decent. The luncheon meat, too, is the regular ones. As for the otah, it is decent with fish flavours. Comes with a mildly sweet tasting chilli served on the side. It is quite decent.
