Fried Mee Hoon & Fried Noodles

Mei Wei Xiao Chi does simple food like fried mee hoon and fried noodles with a selection of add ons. Shown here are fried mee hoon with fried chicken wing, and fried noodles with fried egg and spring roll.

Let’s start with the fried mee hoon first. It has some bean sprouts and bits of shredded carrots, with a watery chilli sauce added on the side. Own its own, it tastes rather plain. Tastes better when mixed with the chilli. It is not exactly tasty in my opinion. As for the fried chicken wing, it is fairly crispy outside and a little moist inside, kind of subpar for a fried chicken wing.

As for the fried noodles, it has an alkaline taste and tastes quite bad on its own. Like the fried mee hoon, it tastes a bit better when mixed with the chilli sauce, but it still a failure to me. The spring roll is crispy outside but flavours are at most average.

Although its name literally means delicious, it is nowhere close at all. Don’t waste your stomach on this one. There are much better options out there.
