Vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon

Mei Jing Vegetarian Food sells the usual fried mee hoon and noodles with a variety of vegetarian dishes to choose from. Seen here is their fried mee hoon with a request for the usual mixture of vegetarian meats and all I’ve gotten are slices of mock meat, vegetarian char siew and some vegetables.

The fried mee hoon is soft with fairly decent savoury flavours. The mock meat slices and vegetarian char siew are quite ordinary tasting though. The fried vegetables are also quite regular tasting. Do note that no crispy goose is given here, probably have to add it as an extra.

This fried mee hoon isn’t bad per se, it tastes fairly decent but ordinary. A very much better tasting (and better value) vegetarian fried mee hoon is Seng Kee Vegetarian Food, located at the coffee shop right next to Beo Crescent Food Centre. This is probably why there is a lack of crowd at Mei Jing Vegetarian Food.
