Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo Mee

is an old-timer yong tau foo stall. Original stall at People’s Park still tastes good.

Yong Tau Foo

Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo Mee serves their signature yong tau foo in either dry or soup versions. Shown here is their dry version which comes a bowl of assorted yong tau foo pieces, a bowl of noodles with minced meat and dipping sauces.

The bowl of yong tau foo soup comes with a piece each of tofu with fish paste, tau pok with fish paste, fried tofu with fish paste, tau kee and fishball. The soup itself is a tasty soya bean based clear soup.

The bowl of tossed noodles uses their signature thin yellow noodles that is topped with minced meat. This noodles has a dry texture and is very flavourful when mixed with the minced meat bits. Tastes good!

Comes with a couple of dipping sauces that you can dip the various yong tow foo pieces into. Sweet dipping sauce is shown on left, and chilli dipping sauce on right. You can also mix some of these sauces into the noodles for some additional flavours. As for myself, I like my noodles mixed with some chilli sauce.

Laksa Yong Tau Foo

Laksa yong tow foo mee is a good alternative to their traditional yong tau foo. Instead of the usual clear broth, the noodles and various yong tau foo pieces comes served in a bowl of tasty laksa gravy. Go for their thin yellow noodles. It is well worth the little extra money. It is good!
