Vegetarian Fried Noodles & Rojak

Jia Vegetarian Bee Hoon does the usual vegetarian fried mee hoon and noodles with an assortment of sides to choose from. Seen here is their fried noodles with vegetarian char siew, fried bean sprouts, spring roll and a serving of rojak on the side.

The fried noodles uses thin type of yellow noodles. It is fairly springy and savoury tasting with strong taste of soya sauce. The mock meat char siew and crunchy fried bean sprouts are both quite ordinary with fairly decent flavours. The spring roll is crispy with moist radish and carrot filling, tastes decent too.

As for the serving of rojak, it comes with crunchy pear, pineapple and cucumber slices and some you tiao. Its sauce is watery with sweet flavourings, and its you tiao is totally soft from soaking up its sauce. Not exactly good, but still acceptable.

Overall the food here tastes quite ordinary so far and a tad salty.
