Fried Mantis Shrimp

Instead of frying the whole mantis shrimp, this fried mantis shrimp has their flesh removed from their shells, cut into pieces and deep fried in a light batter. This is then glazed in a mildly spicy kung pao sauce. The fried mantis shrimp is very crispy and fluffy outside, soft and moist inside. Tastes really good. Highly recommended.

Salty See Hum

This salty see hum is a cold dish. Mildly spicy and mildly salty flavours with fairly chewy flesh. Tastes decent.

Chilli Lala

This lala has soft flesh, and is cooked in a nicely flavoured sauce with mildly spicy flavours. Likeable.

Crispy Chicken

This crispy fried chicken has nice crispy skin outside and moist meat inside. Very nicely flavoured too. Recommended.

Har Cheong Gai

Likewise for the har cheong gai, nice airy kind of crispiness outside with moist and juicy meat inside. Very nice flavours. Recommended too.

Fried Large Intestines

This fried large intestines is thin and fried with a crisp outside and a bit chewy. Has nice light braised sauce flavours.

Sambal Kang Kong

This sambal stir fried kang kong has very nice sambal tastes. The vegetables are juicy and crunchy, and flavourings is really good. Very nice!

Fried Hokkien Mee

The fried hokkien mee here is the wet type with pork belly slices, small sotong slices and prawns fried in a yellow noodles and mee hoon mixture with bean sprouts, egg and lard. The fried yellows are fried into small bits and pieces with some charring and nice smokey flavours of wok hei. Noodles are on the softer side though, but still rather likeable.

Fried Tang Hoon

This fried tang hoon contains prawns, sotong slices, bean sprouts, some vegetables and egg. As this was ordered together with the fried mantis shrimps, a few pieces of the fried mantis shrimps are included. The fried tang hoon has nice light savoury flavours and tastes of wok hei. Very nice!

Dry Fried Beef Hor Fun

This is the dry fried beef hor fun without any gravy. It has a slightly sweet flavour and nice wok hei, and smells good too. Beef slices is tender and soft. I like this. Recommended.
