Fried Hokkien Mee

Havelock Rd Blk50 Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee is the one of the two stalls located at ABC Brickworks Food Centre selling Fried Hokkien Mee. The other stall, Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Fried Hokkien Mee is more well known. Although this stall is the lesser known one, personally I do find that this tastes better.

This fried Hokkien mee is springy with nice flavours. There is a mild alkaline taste coming from the yellow noodles but the lime and sambal chilli helps offsets it. Fried with the noodles are some pork belly slices, sotong slices and a couple of prawns. The option of adding crispy lard pieces to your fried Hokkien mee is a nice bonus. This is my preferred fried Hokkien mee stall in ABC Brickworks Food Centre.
