Nasi Lemak

Chinatown Nasi Lemak Economic Bee Hoon serves a few nasi lemak sets. Shown above is their set with fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, with a piece of luncheon meat added.

The fried chicken wing has a nice crispy batter and skin. Its meat is moist with nice seasoning flavourings. The fried chicken wing is likeable. The fried egg and luncheon meat are just of the regular variety. The ikan bilis is crispy and the peanuts is crunchy.

As for the rice, it is fairly firm with mild coconut milk flavours. Served with a dollop of sweet tasting chilli paste that goes pretty well with the rice. This plate of nasi lemak is a decent one.

Fried Mee Hoon

Besides nasi lemak, fried mee hoon is available as well. Seen above is with fried chicken wing and fried egg added. The fried mee hoon has flavourings and a nice dry texture. Contains some bean sprouts. A nice alternative to its nasi lemak. Decent too.
