Lor Mee

168 Lor Mee sells lor mee and ngo hiang. Seen here is their regular lor mee with ngo hiang added. This lor mee comes with pork belly slices, half a braised egg and fried wanton in a bowl of starchy braised sauce with thick yellow noodles and bean sprouts. The ngo hiang is an extra add on.

The pork belly is soft and tender with fatty parts and nicely flavoured. The braised egg is soft and quite ordinary though. As for the fried wanton, it is crispy with a nicely flavoured filling. The fried wanton is nice. The added ngo hiang has a mildly crispy skin wrapping a soft and nicely flavoured filling inside. Rather nice. You can also request to add an optional dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste to your lor mee.

This is a decent bowl of lor mee. I quite like it.
